2.10.3. Adjustment of a backlash of the steering mechanism without the wheel hydraulic booster

Establish a steering wheel in the central position.

Lift and fix the car.

Turn out a counternut of an adjusting stopper.

Check up the moment of an inhaling of an adjusting stopper (fig. 2.37 see).

If the measured size of the moment of an inhaling is more or less the than established size, adjust the inhaling moment in a following order:

- Establish a steering wheel in the central position;

- Tighten an adjusting stopper the moment 95 Нм;

- Turn a steering wheel of 5 times from an emphasis against the stop;

- Establish a steering wheel in the central position;

-oslabte an adjusting stopper;

- Tighten an adjusting stopper the moment 8 Нм;

- Weakening an adjusting stopper on 0-90 , establish the moment of an inhaling 0,8—1,8 Нм.
