3.2.8. The thermostat case / the ignition distributor

Remove the ignition distributor.

Uncover a broad tank.

Disconnect the bottom hose of a radiator and merge cooling liquid.

Disconnect electric sockets in a following order:

- Disconnect clips of wires of a high voltage 2 (fig. 3.89);

- Disconnect a socket 3 gauges of temperature of a cooling liquid;

- Disconnect a temperature-sensitive element of 1 inclusion of the fan of a radiator;

- Disconnect a socket 4 valves of the control of idling;

- Disconnect a socket 5 gauges throttle заслонки.

Disconnect tubes and hoses in a following order:

- Tube 1 (fig. 3.90) an admission of a cooling liquid;

- Tube 2 releases of a cooling liquid;

- Vacuum tube 3;

- The top hose of a radiator 4;

- Hose of an admission of a radiator of a heater 5.

Remove the main arm of an inlet collector in a following order:

- Turn out bolts 3 (fig. 3.91);

- Turn out nuts 1;

- Turn out a bolt and remove a clip 4;

- Remove the main arm 2.

Remove the case of the thermostat / of the distributor of ignition in a following order:

- Turn out bolts 1 (fig. 3.92);

- Turn out nuts 2;

- Using special tool DW 150—020 turn out the bottom nuts of fastening of the case of the thermostat / of the distributor of ignition;

- Remove the case of the thermostat/distributor of ignition and a lining 3.

Remove the gauge of temperature of a cooling liquid, a temperature-sensitive element of inclusion of the fan of a radiator and the thermostat in a following order:

- Remove the gauge of temperature of a cooling liquid 2 (fig. 3.93);

- Remove a temperature-sensitive element of inclusion of the fan of a radiator 1;

- Turn out bolts 4;

- Remove a casing of the thermostat 3;

- Remove the thermostat with a lining.

Installation of the case of the thermostat/distributor of ignition spend to sequences, return to removal, taking into account the following.

If the lining of the case of the thermostat / of the distributor of ignition is damaged, replace it with the new.

Tighten nuts and bolts of fastening of the case of the thermostat/distributor of ignition by the moment 9—12 Нм.

Tighten bolts М10 of fastening of the main arm of an inlet collector the moment 9—12 Нм.

Tighten bolts М12 of fastening of the main arm of an inlet collector the moment 18—22 Нм.

Tighten nuts of the main arm of an inlet collector the moment 9—12 Нм.
