6.1.3. Repair of system of the hydraulic booster

Removal and tank installation
Removal
Remove a tank in a following order:

- Having pulled upwards, remove a tank 1 (fig. 6.5);

- ослабьте a collar also disconnect a hose of giving 1 (fig. 6.6);
- Uncover a tank 2;
- Substitute a vessel under a place of a leak of a liquid;
- ослабьте a collar also disconnect a returnable hose 3.
Close hoses stoppers for prevention of leaks of a liquid and their pollution.
Installation
Connect hoses and fix collars.
Fill a tank with a liquid of the hydraulic booster of a steering.

The note
At доливке to a liquid or its full replacement always use a liquid of mark DEXTRON—II or DEXTRON—III. Use of other liquid can become the reason of damage of hoses and epiploons and liquid leaks.

Check up on absence of leaks. If there is a leak, eliminate the reason of leak and pump over system.
Removal and installation of hoses and tubes
Hose of giving of system of the hydraulic booster of a steering
Removal
Remove hoses of giving of the hydraulic booster of a steering in a following order:

- ослабьте a collar also disconnect a hose of giving 1 (fig. 6.7) from entering connection on the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering and merge a liquid;
- Substitute a vessel under a place of a leak of a liquid;

- ослабьте a collar also disconnect a hose of giving from a tank 1 (fig. 6.8).
Close hoses stoppers for prevention of leaks of a liquid and their pollution.
Installation

The note
At доливке to a liquid or its full replacement, always use a liquid of mark DEXTRON—II or DEXTRON—III. Use of other liquid can become the reason of damage of hoses and epiploons and liquid leaks.

Connect a giving hose to a tank for a liquid and fix its collar.
Connect a giving hose to inlet connection on the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering and fix its collar.
Fill a tank with a liquid of the hydraulic booster of a steering.
Check up on absence of leaks. If there is a leak, eliminate the reason of leak and pump over system.
Tube of a line of pressure of system of the hydraulic booster of a steering
Removal
Lift the receiver lines of pressure of the hydraulic booster of a steering in a following order:

- Turn away the union 1 (fig. 6.9) tubes of pressure from target connection on the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering;
- Lift the car and fix it on support;

- Turn away fixing nut 1 (fig. 6.10) tubes of a line of pressure;

- Turn away fixing nut 1 (fig. 6.11) tubes of a line of pressure;
- Turn away a connecting nut 2 which is connected to a tube of a line of pressure;

- Turn away a nut 1 (fig. 6.12) fastenings of a tube of a line of pressure;

- Turn away the union 1 (fig. 6.13) tubes of a line of return from the steering mechanism;
- Disconnect the union of 2 tubes of an entrance line of pressure of the steering mechanism;
- Lift the receiver lines of pressure of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering.
Close tubes stoppers for prevention of leaks of a liquid and their pollution.
Installation
Establish tubes of a line of giving and a line of pressure of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering.
Connect entrance 2 (fig. 6.13) a tube of a line of pressure to the steering mechanism see and tighten the union the moment 21—35 Нм.
Connect a tube of 1 line of return to the steering mechanism and tighten the union the moment 21—35 Нм.
Connect a tube of a line of pressure, having tightened fixing and connecting nuts.
Tighten a connecting nut 2 (fig. 6.11 see) which is connected to a tube of a line of pressure the moment 36—50 Нм.
Tighten fixing nut of 1 tube of a line of pressure the moment 7—9 Нм.
Tighten nuts of fastening of a tube of a line of pressure the moment 7—9 Нм.
Connect a tube of a line of pressure to target connection on the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering. Tighten the union of a target tube of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering the moment 21—35 Н•м.
Fill a tank with a liquid of the hydraulic booster of a steering.

Tube of a line of return of the hydraulic booster of a steering
Removal
Lift the receiver lines of giving of the hydraulic booster of a steering in a following order:
- Lift the car and fix it on support;
- Substitute a vessel under a place of leak of a liquid;
- Turn away the union 1 (fig. 6.13 see) tubes of a line of return from the steering mechanism;
- Lower the car;

- Turn away a nut 1 (fig. 6.14);

- ослабьте a collar also disconnect a tube 1 (fig. 6.15) lines of return from a tank.
Close a tube stoppers for prevention of leaks of a liquid and pollution.
Installation
Lift the car and fix it on support.
Connect a tube of a line of return to the steering mechanism. Tighten the union of a tube of a line of return by the moment 21—35 Нм.
Lower the car.
Fix a tube of a line of return by a clip and tighten a nut of fastening of a clip the moment 7—9 Нм.
Fill a tank with a liquid of the hydraulic booster of a steering.

Removal and installation of the switch of pressure of the hydraulic booster
Removal
Disconnect an electric socket.
Turn out the pressure switch.
Close a stopper an aperture of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering.

Screw the switch of pressure and tighten its moment 17—23 Нм (fig. 6.16).
Connect an electric socket.
