7.1.2. The main brake cylinder

The main brake cylinder is designed for use in two-planimetric brake systems. The forward brake mechanism and the back left brake mechanism are put in action by the primary piston, and the forward left brake mechanism and the back right brake mechanism are put in action by the secondary piston. The main brake cylinder unites functions of the standard double main brake cylinder, and also the indicator of low level of a brake liquid and a pressure regulator in brake system.

Preventions Replace all details included in the repair complete set, used for service of the main brake cylinder. At installation grease rubber details with a pure brake liquid for simplification of assemblage. Do not use industrial compressed air for drying and clearing of details of the brake mechanism. It can damage rubber details. If any detail of hydraulic system is removed or disconnected, completely pump over brake system.

The size of the moments of an inhaling is established for the dry, not greased fastening.

Carry out all repair work on the pure workbench cleared of stains of mineral oils.
