7.2.3. Check of a working course of a pedal of a brake

Start up the engine.

Press a pedal of a brake three times.

Press a pedal of a brake with effort about 30 kg, measure distance between an overlay of a pedal of a brake and a floor (fig. 7.4).

If distance less than 60 mm, most a plausible reason deterioration колодок a back brake drum or air presence in system. If the distance remains less than 60 mm even after replacement brake колодок and prorolling of brakes, probably, the regulator of backlashes колодок a back brake is faulty or there does not correspond to norm length of a rod of the vacuum amplifier of brakes.

Check of automatic adjustment of a backlash between колодкой and a drum is carried out after removal of a brake drum. If malfunction is found out, carry out repairs or if necessary replace corresponding details.
