7.3.2. The stoplight switch

Check up that stoplights light up by pressing of a pedal of a brake, and at отпускании — die away. Otherwise check up integrity of a safety lock in an electric chain of the switch. If the safety lock is serviceable, adjust switch position.

If stoplights still do not light up, check up pressure giving to the switch or an electric chain between the switch and stoplight lanterns. Check up serviceability of lamps of a stoplight.

Disconnect a wire of "weight" from the storage battery.

Remove the stoplight switch in a following order:

- Disconnect an electric socket 1 (fig. 7.11);

- Turn the switch of a stoplight 2 and remove it from an arm.

Establish the stoplight switch.

Connect an electric socket.

Connect "a weight" wire to the storage battery.
