8.2.1. The design description

The compressor
The compressor is put in action by a belt from a cranked shaft through a pulley of coupling of the compressor of the conditioner. The compressor pulley rotates, without putting in action the compressor until the coil of electromagnetic coupling will join. At giving of a current for inclusion of the coil of coupling, a disk of coupling and a nave in gathering движутся in a direction to a pulley. Magnetic force blocks a disk of coupling and a pulley together as a single whole for a drive of a shaft of the compressor.
Condenser radiator
The condenser in gathering is located in a forward part of a radiator and consists of tubes on which the coolant and the cooling edges providing fast transfer of heat circulates. Air passage through the condenser cools steams of a coolant which are under a high pressure and promotes their condensation.
The broad valve
The broad valve is located in car salon under the control panel. At malfunction the broad valve can be in three positions: opened, closed and narrowed.
Because of malfunction of the broad valve in open position there is a noise in the compressor or there is no cooling. Breakage of a spring, a ball or excessive humidity in air central air can be the reason. If malfunction of a spring or a ball is found out, replace the broad valve. If excessive humidity in air central air is found out, replace a coolant. Because of malfunction of the broad valve in the closed position force всасывания decreases or there is no cooling. Fall of capacity or excessive humidity in air central air can be the reason. If capacity falling in the broad valve because of its malfunction is revealed, replace the broad valve. If excessive humidity in air central air is found out, replace a coolant.
The narrowed broad valve becomes the reason of low pressure всасывания and coolings. It can be caused presence of particles of deterioration in cooling system. If the reason are particles, replace a coolant, replace the broad valve and replace a coolant tank.
Evaporator radiator
The evaporator is the device cooling and draining air before its giving in salon of the car. The coolant under the big pressure flows through a broad tube (nozzle) and turns to gas with low pressure in the evaporator. Warm at air passage through an evaporator radiator passes to a surface of a cooler which cools air. In the course of transition of heat from air to an evaporator radiator, humidity in air is condensed on an external surface of a radiator of the evaporator and flows down as water.
Coolant tank
The tight tank of a coolant in gathering is connected to a target tube of the evaporator. It operates as the container for coolant storage, receiving a liquid, steam and oil of a coolant from the evaporator. The bottom of a tank of a coolant is a dehumidifier which operates as сушильное means for a moisture which can get into system. The coolant tank is not served and at failure is subject to replacement.
The double switch
The double switch operates compressor work when pressure of circulation of a coolant decreases or raises.
The evaporator thermoresistor
The thermoresistor is a semiconductor at which resistance changes with temperature change. When the temperature of a coolant of the evaporator falls to 0 With and more low, the evaporator radiator becomes covered by ice, reducing air stream, lowering cooling ability. The thermoresistor — the gauge — is used for icing prevention. The thermoresistor is established on the evaporator.
