2.5. Check and adjustment of a corner of an advancing of ignition

Check up and adjust a corner of an advancing of ignition in a following order:

- Warm up the engine to normal working temperature;

- Switch off all lamps and a radio receiver;

- Connect plugs And and With (fig. 2.14) a diagnostic socket, using an additional wire 1, or connect the diagnostic device 2 to a socket;

- Connect a stroboscope to a high-voltage wire of the first cylinder 1 (fig. 2.15);

- Start up the engine and on labels on a flywheel, check up size of a corner of an advancing of ignition which should make 10 to ВМТ (fig. 2.16).

If the corner of an advancing of ignition exceeds the set size, ослабьте bolts 1 (fig. 2.17) fastenings of the distributor of ignition 2 and turning the case of the distributor of ignition in one or other party, adjust a corner of an advancing of ignition.
