The forward disk brake mechanism is shown on fig. 7.43.

Preventions Necessarily replace all колодки on one axis of the car even if one is worn out only колодка. If brake колодки are established repeatedly, before removal it is necessary to mark them. At work brake колодок the brake dust containing asbestos, unhealthy is formed. Therefore at clearing brake колодок do not use compressed air and do not inhale a dust. For clearing of brake mechanisms use only a special cleaner of brakes.

Uncover a tank of brake system.

Tighten a lay brake and block back wheels an emphasis.

Ослабьте nuts of fastening of a forward wheel. Lift a forward part of the car and establish on support. Remove a forward wheel.

Check up a brake disk on presence of cracks, especially round apertures under bolts of fastening of a wheel, and also on presence of deterioration or mechanical damages; if necessary replace both disks.

Turn out the bottom bolt 1 (fig. 7.44) support fastenings. Thus the second key keep directing finger from проворачивания. Lift a support 1 (fig. 7.45) upwards, turning it round the top directing finger and a soft wire tie up to a forward rack. Do not turn on the top bolt of fastening of a support and a hollow bolt of fastening of a brake hose.

Remove from the holder brake колодки.

If колодки are suitable to the further operation, clear their wire brush and rags.

Do not press a brake pedal at removed brake колодках.

Establish brake колодки on the holder of a support.

Establish a support into place and screw the bottom bolt of fastening of a support. If the support is not established on new колодки, a G-shaped clip, press the piston into a support. At вдвигании the piston the brake liquid is superseded from the brake cylinder in a broad tank. Therefore constantly observe of liquid level in a tank; if necessary pump out it from a tank.

Similarly replace brake колодки on the second forward wheel.

Establish wheels and lower the car on the earth.

Some times press a brake pedal that brake колодки have nestled on a brake disk.
