4.1.1. The design description

The coupling located between the engine and a transmission, is intended for separation and flywheel connection on cranked to a shaft of the engine and a primary shaft of a transmission.
Coupling consists of a press disk with a surface of the friction, a conducted disk with frictional overlays and the second surface of a friction in which quality the flywheel acts. A flywheel and press a disk are directly connected with cranked shaft of the engine, and the conducted disk is established on шлицах a leading shaft of a transmission.
Диафрагменный the spring mechanism creates the effort uniting work of a flywheel, press and conducted disks for maintenance of joint rotation. In this case coupling joins and transfers a twisting moment from the engine to a transmission. Management of coupling is carried out by a coupling pedal.
Coupling deenergizing is made as follows. As a result of pressing a coupling pedal the piston in the main cylinder moves, compressing a liquid. Its pressure on a hose is transferred to the working cylinder of the coupling which piston influences a plug of deenergizing of coupling. The plug of deenergizing of coupling moves the bearing of deenergizing of coupling which presses the centre диафрагменной springs, releasing effort of inclusion on spring perimetre, and moves press a disk back. The conducted disk then the shaft of the engine and a transmission shaft can rotate independently from each other is thus released.
From two parties of a conducted disk приклепаны frictional overlays. The leading part of a disk incorporates to a nave through details гасителя крутильных the fluctuations, providing elastic communication between them. Гаситель fluctuations reduces the dynamic loadings causing a twisting (раскручивание) of shaft of transmission, speeds of movement of the car arising at sharp change, arrival on roughness of road, sharp inclusion of coupling, and also owing to non-uniformity of a twisting moment of the engine. Elastic fluctuations of details of transmission lead to noise in mechanisms and units, and also to vibrations. If the amplitude of elastic fluctuations reaches considerable sizes, details can be damaged. For absorption of energy elastic крутильных fluctuations use гаситель.
