6.3.4. Removal and installation of a tip of steering draught

Remove a wheel.

Disconnect a tip of steering draught from a rotary fist in a following order:

- Remove шплинт 1 (fig. 6.40);

- Turn on корончатую a nut 2;

- Stripper of spherical hinges KM507-V separate a tip of steering draught 3 from a rotary fist.

Remove a tip of steering draught in a following order:

- Note mutual position of steering draught, a counternut of a tip of steering draught and a tip of steering draught 1 (fig. 6.41);

- Having turned counter-clockwise, ослабьте a counternut 1 (fig. 6.42) a tip of steering draught;

- Turn out a tip of steering draught 2.

Check up a condition of spherical hinges of steering draught and a tip of steering draught.

Turn 10 times from an emphasis against the stop the spherical hinge of steering draught or a tip of steering draught.

Spring scales check up a twisting moment necessary for turn of steering draught or a finger of the spherical hinge (fig. 6.43). The Twisting moment of the spherical hinge of steering draught and a tip of steering draught should be in limits 0,49—3,43 Нм. Otherwise replace steering draught and a tip of steering draught.

Screw a tip of steering draught on steering draught to earlier put label.

Connect a tip of steering bent for to a rotary fist.

Tighten a counternut 1 (fig. 6.44) a tip of steering draught the moment 35—55 Нм.

Screw корончатую a nut of 2 fastenings of a tip of steering bent for to a rotary fist and tighten its moment 30—55 Нм.

Establish шплинт.

Establish a wheel.

Execute convergence adjustment, rotating an adjusting nut.
